On Site Mare Services

• Artificial Insemination with: Fresh, Shipped Cooled & Frozen Semen
• On-site Embryo Flush and Transfer
  ​​Option 1: We can line up a recipient mare that is client owned and transfer on-site! All management and services are provided by our team here at Outback Equine Reproduction.
  
  Option 2: You can lease a recipient mare through Oxbow Recipient Mare Services located just down the road from Outback, in this option the recipient mare is synced and managed by Oxbow staff. The embryo is flushed at Outback and then transferred by their staff into an Oxbow recipient mare. All recipient mare statuses and services will be communicated and performed by their staff, including the billing for the items listed on their ET contract. Contract linked below. If selecting this option you must have this contract in place at the time of drop off of your donor mare to Outback.
  
  Option 3: We can also ship embryos to a recipient mare herd of your choice. All arrangements for this must be done by client.
  
• Mare Breeding Soundness Exams: Our Veterinarians can help you make the best decisions to plan and help ensure your mare is fit for breeding, helping you make the best choices for the breeding season and your mare.
• Mare Management: Tracking cycles, ordering semen, arranging transport and pick up of shipments, and more.
• Uterine Cultures: We offer in house cultures & cytology, offering timely and effective testing
• Under Lights:  We offer clients the chance to bring their mares in November to go under lights if they do not have the space to do this at home. This helps us get started earlier, if January and February babies are your goal. Give us a call if you’re interested in this!
• Exercise program and feed program specific programs: A broodmare, just needing light exercise.. No problem. A fit mare that is currently in competition shape, no problem. Our clients horses are exercised 5 days a week to ensure they stay healthy and happy.
• Long Term Board: We give our clients the option to drive back & forth with their mares through the breeding process or you can drop her off and leave her till she checks in foal!

Rehab & Conditioning Services 

A unique feature to our facility is our ability to keep your horse(s) in shape while here for breeding! We offer exercise programs to on-site mares and stallions (utilizing our Noble Panels Free Walker, which allows horses to move naturally without any restraints) who are here with us during the breeding season or for rehab purposed. Keep your mare or stallion in shape and ready to perform after their stay with us here at Outback Equine Reproduction & Embryo Transfer Center.
